"That Person"

Everyone has that one person in their lives that pushes them to be better, try harder, reach higher and move faster. That special someone who will listen to moaning, groaning and complaining right along with excitement, successes and raw joy. This same person is sometimes hard to compare yourself to. They always seem to get things right. Oh...they are not perfect. Believe me it is evident that they make mistakes, however they always seem to pull it back together with an amazing amount of grace. When they hurt, they do their best to hide it. When they are scared, they pretend it is all going to be alright. Every now and then you can see them wearing down...but then, they kick it into gear and you are left wondering...how do they do that?

Who is that person for me? Well, she is the most beautiful woman I know. She is fiesty yet gentle, opinionated yet calming...she loves her family. I adore her. She listens when no one else has the time or patience. She comforts when no one else knows there is anything wrong. I need her. She is always excited to see you. She accomodates when it is not convenient. I miss her. She is a good wife. She is an incredible mother.

Me and Missy both joke, roll our eyes, sigh {at her expense of course} when one of us does something like mom...and the other points it out. But to tell you the truth, we both are secretly hoping we get it right just as she has!
