My Active girl. Beautiful, bossy girl. Crazy girl. Daring girl. Exceptional girl. Funny girl. {We have obviously been working on our alphabet!}{But, most important...she is} MY GIRL! And I am wonderfully blessed to have her. She has made my life turn in circles since she has arrived and I have found that I LOVE MERRY-GO-ROUNDS, so all is good here! Don't get me wrong...she is quite the handful. I have several friends who have little boys and tell story after story of them being crazy, full of life, jumping off things, hurting themselves, etc. Me and Chris often laugh at their conclusion..."I guess it's just boys". NOPE...I have heard countless of these stories and can guarantee you R has done all of the above and taken it a step further...only wearing her high heel princess shoes and holding a baby in her arms. But, this is not about how she challenges me {us}...instead I am going to share those things that make my heart flutter and make me an incredibly proud mommy! Here is my top ten {I will limit myself, so I don't get out of control}:
1. She is incredibly strong ~ physically and mentally which I believe is a necessity in this life.
2. She has an incredible smile ~ it will light up the darkest room.
3. She has the sweetest voice ~ that combined with her new found vocabulary continually cracks us up!
4. She eats ~ I am talking anything...the spicier the better.
5. She pushes me {us} ~ which in turn just makes us better.
6. She has an incredible amount of empathy ~ she leaves no "booboo" unkissed or without a band-aid and she will ask you relentlessly if you are "aw-ight".
7. She is fun ~ and has alot of it.
8. She has an endless amount of energy ~ and uses it...ALL!
9. She is a daddy's girl ~ talks about him all day!
10. She hugs ~ this by far is my favorite! It is what we term the "head-lock" and it is tight and genuine!
So, this Mother's Day celebration that is around the corner...it is my favorite day of the year! And while I am sure there will be surprises for me...I wanted you all to know she has been the best surprise of all!side note: I asked her this morning while we were tickling each other what she was going to get me for Mother's Day, she responded...
"a...a....a...a...shower!" PERFECT...I LOVE IT!

She is yours and Chris's girl for sure but she also touches us grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles in a way that is just unbelievable. She is so refreshing and makes our heart flutter, just to hear her voice or about the antics that she has done and the pics. So WONDERFUL!!!!
