priceless

There is something about spring that just puts a plain, old smile on your face...well, at least it does around our house. The weather changes, which means more time outside and beautiful things start to bloom! It just doesn't get any better...or does it!

While the flowers are beautiful and make me smile...these two make my heart skip a beat! So, what's new with them....hmmm, let see....

My sweet girl just couldn't get any more personality! She told her daddy last night "I like boyzzz!" We both about fell out of our seats...a little in shock at how matter-of-fact she put it...but we of course got a chuckle out of it!

She loves being around people and pretty much will latch on to anyone! I don't think she let Erika out of sight the entire weekend (thanks Erika) and we had a great school lesson this week counting down the days before her friend Maddie came home! She is doing great with her manners and has of late started correcting us when we are out of line. Her aunt B said the "s" word (sucks) and she informed her that was a bad word and momma says not to say it! Again...a little chuckle from that one. She is still taking gymnastics and is really doing good. She was invited to the "advanced" 4 year old class last week and will start that in June when this current session wraps up. She told us last week she was ready to go to the beach...which doesn't surprise me or her daddy in the least since she has been sporting bathing suits for the last 2 weeks. So...looks like a beach trip will be planned before long! We have also decided to start her in preschool in the fall, so that should be interesting...but, I am only giving her up for 2 days (they tried to talk me into 3 but it didn't work)! In all...our sweet Love just lives life to the fullest and keeps it interesting for her mommy and daddy!
Talk about make your heart skip a beat...this little guy does a little more than that for his momma! To say I am loving life with him doesn't even describe it! He is an utter J.O.Y! And, if you can't tell is so ready to get up and go! I keep saying "any day" and it's true...any day he will be a mover and shaker! He does little more than smile the entire day and has figured out that if he is laying on the floor and I come near him if he waves and flutters his arms and legs I am sure to pick him up for a little cuddle session!
He is eating like a big boy now and the only thing he seems not to like is avacado...which doesn't really have a taste, but??? I'm going to start giving him baby carrots before long since he continues to push teeth through like it is his job. He has 4 on the bottom and 3 on top with another one on it's way. I actually just found the last 2 the other day when he gave me a big grin and laughed to myself...I would have never known cause he doesn't make a peep. His cough is almost gone which we are so thankful for...his little throat has been raw! But...he loves talking! He is definetely saying "dada" and says it more when Chris is around so at least this boy knows who he is talking too!
I guess I am going to have to let him get bigger, which I really don't want too! But, I tell him all the time that momma can't wait until he is as tall as his daddy and gives me a big hug...oh, my heart melts just thinking about it!
