I think the hardest part of decorating a house is picking the perfect paint color! Now this little one...
she has no problem picking out the perfect colors of paint...doesn't even hesitate!
She said..."pink and daddy's favorite color...orange!" So...that is what she got!
But this time...we did it! We being my husband and I! Yes, we are starting back up on house projects! We did our year walk through with the builder and are now ready to take on painting the house. I went to Sherwin Williams and came home with a few samples and up they went. Lets start with the kitchen...I wanted the dark grey...he was a little unsure! "Hun...it almost looks black at night"...I respond "love...it's not black and it makes everything pop! (See, I am a color girl...he is fine with sticking with neutrals) But, he finally came around to my thinking and here is the after shots!
Everybody who has seen it has really seemed to like it, so what do you think? Me...I am perfectly pleased (actually I LOVE IT)! Chris...well he said "hun...you were right, it's perfect!" So...on to the rest of the house. We have decided to paint the entry way, living room and hallways (up and down) a boring neutral color. I know...totally bummed about it but there is no good starting and stopping point and I think it would just give it a much cleaner feel. So...at least I got some color in my kitchen!Oh...and just because... I have also started accessorizing my dining room! You might notice those curtains that me and Miss worked so hard on are gone. Truth be told...I hated them! They were too heavy and didn't let enough light in and these, well I fell in love with them the moment I saw them! And even better...it happened to be my birthday weekend so mom and Miss bought them for me! I just love them, my momma and sis!
the wall is still empty but not for long...do you remember that pic of my sweet girl praying? Well I am having it made into a canvas and it will be hanging on that bare wall soon enough...along with some other goodies! Anywho...hope ya'll have a good day!

Beautiful, I love the new neutral (gray) which you know I like beings I have it in my kitchen and bedroom too....you are becoming quite the decorator, you wait for the money, think,think,think and think, then make the decision and then you put it into action. I love it. And I hope we'll be able to see it in person before too long. Kennedy has asked Ryan 1,000 times when we are coming to see you guys. :-) Guess we'll have to wait until after April 15. Miss you guys.
