As I had shared before, I have started my first book of the year. The Poisonwood Bible written by Barbara Kingsolver. I think it is a brilliantly written book. A story, the same story, from the perspective of a mother and her 4 daughters. It is a story of their time spent as missionaries in the Congo. It is a work of fiction, but still moving as you hear each girl/woman tell it from her perspective.
One of the daughters suffers from hemiplegia but is brilliant. And when you read from her perspective she speaks in palindromes, which is a sentence structure that can be read forward and backward the same. Very interesting!
Well, I got an email today from a friend and she shares this video which I think is brilliant! It is a reverse palindrome...it reads the exact opposite forward and backward. I personally like it backwards the best! The video was submitted by a 20 year old to a contest for the AARP entitled "U @ 50". Thanks Heather for sharing!
