Our sweet boy!

I thought I'd let you guys know how K's appointment with the audiologist went. His right ear is perfect...yea! His left ear...not so much! BIG BUMMER! She explained he had severe hearing loss in that ear, meaning he can not hear everyday stuff like talking, the vacuum, water running, etc. Her recommendation was to go ahead and get him a hearing aid. We see the actual ENT doctor on November 6 for him to give his recommendations. What do we think? We are a little unsure! In my opinion...maybe I am in denial, maybe not...he is very small and needs to grow. I had a great conversation with my girlfriend Erika yesterday, who went through a similar situation with their sweet girl and she pretty much suggested what I was thinking. First, let him grow a little bit and second, don't hesitate to get a second opinion. So, that is what we are planning on doing...and saying lots of prayers in the meantime. The BIG picture...if our final conclusion is he can not hear out of that ear, we of course will not hesitate to do what ever is needed! After all...he is our sweet boy!

Also...thank you all for calling, emailing, texting to check on K! It is always eye opening to see how many people love your kids!
