Sissy

She has been a great sissy...she deserves some time in the spotlight all by herself!

So what has R been into lately...lets see

---------------------------------------------------------

First...I wish I could catch some of her expressions on video. Me and Chris crack up at her and her reactions to life as a 2 year old. For example...she is talking back ALOT these days. I ask her to do something and she always has something smart to say (well at least most of the time). I have finally introduced the wooden spoon. Yes...I spank my child. No...I do not like it at all...in fact I hate it. But, I also hate kids with smart mouths and she will NOT be that kid. Mamaw Debbie has urged me to do this and has assured me just the sight of it would keep her in line. She again was right. She has gotten a couple swats and now the mere sight of the spoon will usually straighten her up. However, the other night...she was in rare form. I gave her too many chances and finally out came the spoon. Chris was holding K on the bed and I had R put her hands on the bed (she knows that means I am being serious) and I go to swat her toosh. I look at Chris who is fighting back tears of laughter...I too have to turn my head because I am wanting to crack up...there is really no way to explain it to you where you would get a chuckle out of it, but...she gritted her teeth and started making these noises like she was preparing herself. No crying. No begging for me to stop. Just these hilarious sound effects for preparation. Again...if only I had a video you all would be laughing to the point of crying. And yes, for all you haters who don't think spankings are necessary...she is fine. I told her why, explained that I loved her and am POSITIVE she will have no scars from the experience when she is 30. I don't...and my momma did not hesitate to wear my toosh out!

---------------------------------------------------------

She has started saying..."sorry momma, my fault". Seriously, what can you say to that?

----------------------------------------------------------

Her new thing she loves to do is wash dishes (I know, how lucky am I?). She was on her step stool washing K's bottles, while I was feeding him on the couch. She comes in and says..."sorry momma, my fault" I finished feeding him (not smart) and then went to check on the mess. The drain stopper was in the drain and water was overflowing from my counter tops...the floor was soaked...but, the bottles were clean!

-----------------------------------------------------------

Tonight...we went to the playground and she was running, climbing and chasing the other kids. I watched her and wondered...HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY! She is MY sweet girl!

Mommal N and Pops really got a laugh - she is really something else. What a dream .... such and Angel but Mawmaw Debbie is right the spoon is a good idea. She is so smart she will push it - we know she has the strong wills of both Chris and Sara ..... so she is our Rilynn.

LOVE YOU ALL
