I had to pull myself back to this place this week...to say the least, I was feeling pretty yuck and out of shape. Remember...I am the one person who will tell you the truth...being pregnant is not fun, cute, comfortable, etc. I had to remind myself that I would soon feel normal again...and refocus on the fact that I was carrying our sweet boy in this BIG belly and he would be here soon!
Not to mention...this week was full of doctors appointments. I will cut to the chase...we got great news! Kellan's ventricles measured .8, which is well within normal limits! The specialist told us we should have a very healthy little boy! The reason for the scare...it could have been swelling, abnormal growth patterns, etc. He said he has seen it on a few occasions...regardless we are THANKFUL! Chris' face was relieved as he hugged me and then gave me 20 high-five's as we walked out of the office. This is the funny part...my regular OB said I was measuring small..."WHAT?!?" Well, our babe's belly IS small and we will have a follow-up ultrasound in 2 weeks to double check things...just another opportunity to see his sweet face! Speaking of...do you want to see him?
He is now approximately 4lbs, 9ounces.
His hands are always in front of his face...maybe he will be a cuddler!
