I'm lovin'...

I've been tagged...

Ten things I am lovin' right now...

1. Lemon cookies. I know, usually not my thing. I am at heart a chocolate girl. However, Chris wanted me to bake something lemony and I found a great recipe for lemon cookies. I am enjoying one right now!

2. Knitting. Yes, I know it is funny but I have had this desire to learn how to knit. I took my first lesson last week and have been addicted. I am definitely learning and have found I am a true perfectionist at heart. I will knit a few rows, realize I made a mistake and just have to start over...not great in terms of a finished product. It is definitely getting better...thanks Jackie for teaching me!

3. Bo...boos. R is obsessed with bo...boos and loves to kiss them! Now you see why I am lovin' all my imperfections! What cracks me up is her obsession with the scar on my forehead...which for those of you that do not know, I blame on her. It was the result of me passing out while pregnant!

4. "my dat". R loves her daddy and I love to watch them. They wrestle pretty much every night...she loves it and so does he. I love the giggles from both ends!

5. WV phone calls. It is unbelievable how much I miss my family. I schedule my months around who visits who next and and my days around phone calls to my mom and sister. I talk to the boys usually weekly and am excited when dad answers the phone and we can chit chat briefly.

6. Hugs. I love the hug I get from Chris when he gets home from work and the arms of my baby when they wrap around my neck. I have flown home for a hug from my dad and cried when I had to pry my Livi's arms from around my neck because she wanted to go back to GA with aunt Sissy. It doesn't get much better than a hug!

7. Showers. Usually to save on time, I throw R in the shower with me. I love holding her and laughing as the water splashes over our heads. It reminds me of how perfect God has made her!

8. Praying. I have found that the more I pray...the better my life gets. Not necessarily because he gives me more, but instead because it helps me realize and be thankful for what I already have!

9. Fall. I am lovin' the colors of the fall, the cool breezes and keeping my windows open at night!

10. Saturday mornings. I love waking R up or her waking us up and getting to see that sweet smile first thing. Most Saturdays, we put her in bed with us and play until she points to the door indicating it is time for breakfast. Nothing better!
