Mother's Day!

I love this day...it really doesn't matter what you do it is just a great feeling waking up knowing that you are a mommy to the most beautiful girl you have ever seen! Her eyes melt my heart and her personality makes me laugh. God could not have blessed me more!
Our day started with cheerios and a conversation about missing home...I had talked to Missy the night before and knew they were cooking out to celebrate my Mama! However, as I looked into those brown eyes and watched her scoop cheerios into her mouth I realized there is no way I could be sad, just happy that I had great stories to tell her about her mamaw Debbie!
We got dressed for church...grabbed a quick snapshot of us together...and headed out the door for a great sermon and good food to follow. Although they were calling for rain...the weather was beautiful and matched the decor of my day!

I love my mom...I don't even think it is enough just to say it anymore. After having a little one of my own, I have realized how amazing she is. I talk to her daily after she gets off work, and have found that if for some reason we miss each other, my heart aches to be near her. Over the years since I have moved away, our phone conversations have grown into a relationship of its own...I love 'em and I need 'em!
She is my treasure!
